Our recycling systems are robust and far reaching. In 2024 alone, we recycled:
• Over 45,000 kg of glass, carefully separated from other waste.
• More than 140 tonnes of uPVC, shredded and repurposed from old frames.
• 300+ tonnes of timber, recycled consistently across 2022, 2023, and 2024.
• Several tonnes of metal, including discarded window and door hardware.
• 4–5 tonnes of paper, cardboard, plastic, and polythene every year.
These efforts demonstrate our long-standing commitment to preserving resources and reducing waste.
We proudly operate under a zero landfill policy, ensuring that as little waste as possible ends up in landfill. Materials that can’t be traditionally recycled are sent to MVV Energy, where they’re transformed into usable energy, heating homes and businesses across the country.
In addition, we’ve introduced more fuel efficient vehicle practices, dramatically reducing our annual road mileage and further cutting emissions. At SRJ Sunrooms, sustainability is more than a policy, it’s part of how we build, improve, and operate every day.
